Sarah fell in love with dancing at a young age and began training extensively in jazz, ballet, contemporary, musical theater, hip-hop, tap, and tumbling. She received her training from Center Stage Performing Arts Studios in Orem, UT. She was selected to perform the role of 'Clara' in Ballet West's production of 'The Nutcracker' in Salt Lake City as well as on tour with the company. She began to pursue dancing and singing on screen, landing roles in music videos and movies including Disney's High School Musical and High School Musical 2. At the youthful age of 16, Sarah joined Odyssey Dance Theater. Here her passion for dance and acting really took flight. She was able to work with many celebrated choreographers including Roni Koresh, Mandy Moore, Dee Caspary, Liz Imperio, Justin Giles, and others. Her inspiring journey with Odyssey lasted for 5 and a half years and took her many places. She feels fortunate to have danced not only locally, but nationally and internationally as well, including 5 European tours, a Eurasian tour, and a tour to China, coinciding with the 2008 Summer Olympics. She was selected to be a contestant and finalist on Nigel Lythgoe's newest television show, A Chance To Dance, and had the pleasure of working with Britain's Ballet Boyz, Michael Nunn and Billy Trevitt. She then had an opportunity to perform with the show's company on the 2012 So You Think You Can Dance tour. Not only has Sarah found enjoyment in dancing, but along the way, she found a great love for teaching. It is so fulfilling to her to be able to inspire others, give back to those who've inspired her, and to perpetuate this beautiful art of dance.
